Ken looks at the intriguing story found in 2 Samuel 24 that shows David’s greatest sin and the deadly consequences. David repents and is obedient to God and goes to build an altar that will one day become the temple.
David is offered the land at no cost but he refuses to pay nothing for the altar because he understands that there is a cost to paying nothing. Ken calls us to refuse to pay nothing leading into our week of prayer, fasting and consecration and into 2019 as we build our own altars, in and with our lives.
